Topfield TF5810PVR Freeview Recorder (NOT HD)

The latest manufacturer to release a Freeview Recorder is ToPfield with their TF5810PVR Freeview Recorder. The Topfield TF5810PVR Freeview Recorder has been released as a premium Freeview Recorder with a RRP price tag of around £430. This is almost twice as much as many other Freeview Recorders on the market so it is selling at a special offer price of around £300 at most retailers. Whilst this box does not receive Freeview HD, it does have upscaling ability so the quality of the picture is greatly improved!

The Topfield PVR Freeview Recorder comes with a 500GB hard drive. As standard there is a Twin Tuner with Dual Decoding feature. IN terms of connectivity the Topfield Freeview Recorder has 1 x HDMI Connection and is Fully DVB-T Compliant.

In terms of looks the Topfield TF5810PVR Freeview Recorder is pretty average to be honest. It only comes in black and the size is quite average. We feel that the Topfield TF5810PVR Freeview Recorder is overpriced for what you get. Looking at the competitors in the Freeview Recorder there are bigger brands with Freeview Recorder that are better looking with more features. Unless you really want a Topfield PVR Freeview Recorder we would recommend looking elsewhere.
